About
Stacey Jury has been extensively practicing and studying Yoga since 2010 and completed a Yoga Alliance approved 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training with Mona Warner at Janati Yoga in Kingston, Ontario in April 2013.
For Stacey, yoga brings a sense of steadiness and balance to life. While living and teaching in South Korea, yoga became a significant instrument for inner healing and personal transformation. Expanded awareness and a renewed sense of self has allowed Stacey to grow into a more loving and compassionate person. Practicing yoga and meditation has become Stacey's passion and lifelong commitment.
Classes offered are accessible for all levels of students. Honouring individual abilities and limitations, Stacey frequently offers variations and modifications to ensure that each person can experience the benefits of yoga in a way that reflects their personal goals.
In addition to her Yoga teacher training, Stacey completed her Bachelor of Education in 2013 from Queen's University and is registered with the Ontario College of Teachers. Stacey is trained in Standard First Aid with CPR-C + AED through St. John Ambulance, as well as Mental Health First Aid Training through Mental Health First Aid Canada. Most recently, Stacey obtained a Certificate in Applied Mindfulness Meditation through University of Toronto.
